The Phffft! Company fuses complex athletic partnering and daring lifts with a keen theatrical sensibility, revealing human nature through the lens of everyday and intimate relationships. His company of dancers push, pull, coil and spring - into and out of each other - using every surface of their bodies as a launching pad for movement. Each work is created around a theme and each can draw from significantly different sources for inspiration, thus each piece is a new exploration, and will look and feel different.

Whether through witty and humorous reflections on daily life or intimate revelations on inner life, the company questions, satires and reflects. As a champion of the live aspect of performance, the company also presents improvisation as an important art form alongside its choreographed works.

An equally important part of the company's mission is to bring arts to all sectors of society regardless of socioeconomic background. As such, the company conducts outreach activities in conjunction with numerous outside organizations to provide arts for the underserved, including performances, classes and workshops at low or no cost to participants.
